  1. If your JAMB score isn’t great, don’t panic because there are still solid ways to get into school. One option is going for schools that accept lower cut-off marks, like some state universities or polytechnics. Schools like Ekiti State University, Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Kaduna State University, and a few private universities are known to be more flexible with their cut-off marks.

    Another smart move is checking if your school of choice offers a pre-degree or JUPEB program those can get you in through direct entry later on. Also, consider part-time, evening or distance learning programs from schools like LASU, NOUN, and UNIBEN and they’re less strict with JAMB scores.

    Just make sure to double-check their current admission guidelines ‘cause they sometimes change. Low score doesn’t mean no admission.
