Is WAEC Result 2025 Out?

As of now, WAEC has not officially announced the release of the 2025 results. Results are usually released 45 to 60 days after the last paper. We will update this post once the result is out.

What You Need to Check Your Result

Before checking your WAEC result, make sure you have the following:

  • WAEC Examination Number (e.g. 4250101234)
  • Examination Year: 2025
  • Type of Examination: School Candidate or Private
  • WAEC Scratch Card (also called WAEC PIN)

You can get a scratch card from WAEC offices, authorized dealers, or online vendors.

How to Check WAEC Result 2025 Online

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official WAEC result portal: https://www.waecdirect.org
  2. Enter your WAEC Examination Number
  3. Select your Exam Year (2025)
  4. Choose your Exam Type (School or Private Candidate)
  5. Enter your Scratch Card PIN
  6. Enter your Serial Number (found on the scratch card)
  7. Click on “Submit”

Your result will appear on the screen. You can print or save it for later use.

How to Check WAEC Result Without Scratch Card

WAEC does not allow result checking without a valid scratch card. Be careful of websites that claim to show results without a PIN—they are likely scams.

Common Problems and Fixes

  • “Invalid Exam Number” – Check for typing errors. Use your exam slip to confirm.
  • “Result Not Available” – Your result may still be uploading. Try again later.
  • “Card Used by Another Candidate” – This means your card is already used. Always buy from trusted sources.
