I once tried getting into playing the guitar, but after a few months of sore fingers and slow progress, I kinda lost steam. It was fun at first, but I didn’t keep up the practice to really get good at it.
Another one for me would be journaling. I went all in—nice notebook, fancy pens, even tried bullet journaling. I kept it up for a few weeks, then slowly drifted off when life got hectic. I still want to get back to it... but that blank page can be intimidating.
I gave knitting a try once—got super into it for about two weeks, bought the needles, a bunch of yarn, watched tutorials… the whole deal. Made about half a very uneven scarf and then totally lost steam. It was fun while it lasted, but let’s just say I’m more of a “start strong, fade fast” type when it comes to crafts.
