    Rights and royalties: WWE often edits or removes content related to personalities they no longer have good working relationships with, especially if it involves royalty or rights issues. Ventura’s commentary tracks were sometimes replaced or reduced to avoid paying royalties or legal complications.

    Creative control and reputation: Ventura was also critical of WWE publicly, so WWE may have wanted to distance themselves from him in their official releases.

    Why Jesse Ventura left WWE in 1990:
    Frustration with creative direction: Ventura was unhappy with the creative decisions and the direction of the company. He reportedly felt that the product was becoming less entertaining or was being mismanaged.
