From what I’ve read, there were a few reasons behind Michael Jackson wearing that single glove. Some say it started as a fashion statement, something unique to stand out on stage; and it definitely worked. Others mention it had to do with his vitiligo, where he wanted to cover up the changing skin tone on his hand. Either way, it became such a huge part of his image that you can’t really picture MJ without it now.
