If I could instantly learn any language, I’d choose Japanese. It’s such a beautiful language with a rich culture behind it plus, it would open up access to tons of amazing anime, games, literature, and history in their original form.
Without a doubt—Japanese. There’s just something so beautiful and layered about it, from the way it sounds to the cultural depth behind the words. I’ve always wanted to understand anime and Japanese literature in their original form, you know? Plus, being able to travel around Japan and fully connect with people there would be amazing. Definitely on my bucket list.
I’d choose Mandarin Chinese. It’s the most spoken language in the world and opens up access to an incredible culture, history, and business opportunities. Plus, mastering those tones and characters instantly? That’d be impressive.
Not just because of anime or sushi (though, yes, those too), but because the language unlocks so much rich culture—from centuries-old literature and philosophy to cutting-edge tech and design. Plus, imagine strolling through Kyoto or Tokyo, reading signs, chatting with locals, and understanding everything from haiku to headlines. Instant dream.
Also, learning Japanese gives you access to games, films, and stories that often get lost or watered down in translation.
How about you—are you leaning more toward travel vibes, secret codes, or connecting with heritage?
I think I’d pick Spanish. It’s spoken by so many people around the world, and it would open up a ton of travel and connection opportunities. Plus, the music and culture are amazing
