  1. The absence of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in Avengers: Endgame’s final battle comes down mainly to storytelling focus and continuity choices made by Marvel Studios:

    Reasons they didn’t appear:
    Separate Storylines & Mediums:

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a TV show, while Avengers: Endgame is a blockbuster film with a huge cast already. The movie focused on major heroes from the MCU films.

    Limited Screen Time:

The final battle was packed with iconic Avengers, Guardians, and other big-name characters. Adding TV characters would have made it too crowded and complicated.

    Marvel Studios vs. Marvel TV:

At the time, Marvel Studios (films) and Marvel TV (shows) operated more independently. Crossovers weren’t fully integrated, especially for big events.

    Narrative Scope:

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. focused more on ground-level, smaller-scale threats and espionage rather than cosmic or large-scale battles.

    Bottom line:
While S.H.I.E.L.D. is important in the MCU, the films and TV shows had different focuses, so the Agents didn’t join the final Endgame battle on screen.

  2. The characters from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. didn’t appear in Avengers: Endgame's final battle for a few key reasons—mostly tied to continuity, creative decisions, and logistics:

    🎬 1. Separate creative teams
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were run by different divisions (Marvel Studios vs. Marvel Television).

Kevin Feige, who led the MCU films, wasn’t involved in the TV side—so the shows and movies grew apart over time.

    📅 2. Timeline divergence
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. eventually branched into its own timeline—especially in later seasons.

By Season 6 and 7, the show didn’t even acknowledge the Endgame events like the Snap.

🎥 3. Too many characters already
Endgame had to juggle dozens of major movie characters. Adding in the S.H.I.E.L.D. team (Coulson, Daisy, etc.) would’ve required explaining who they are to non-TV viewers, which would’ve complicated the story.

    💥 4. Missed opportunity—but not impossible
Fans were disappointed, but it wasn’t a snub—just a result of the TV and movie worlds drifting apart. With Marvel now unifying its storytelling across TV and film (like with Loki and WandaVision), future crossovers are more likely.
